Ye, high end content needs this.
A pocket one if possible.
Iirc there's a weird glitch where two people interacting with the same dresser crashes servers, and it's so ingrained in the spaghetti code that it'll be a nightmare to fix compared to just not having it in multiple player instances.
It would be nice, but if it's as awkward as they say I'm fine with it being a lower priority.
Literally this is the reason I heard. Anything where one person touches the dresser and another person does, or Person 1 places and Person 2 deletes, will cause the server to just die.Iirc there's a weird glitch where two people interacting with the same dresser crashes servers, and it's so ingrained in the spaghetti code that it'll be a nightmare to fix compared to just not having it in multiple player instances.

Maybe they could attach something like an inn room to houses? Similar to how they have the fc rooms but it just sends you into a private instanced inn room and you'd have access to your glam dresser there.
I'd love to see a glamour dresser housing item, but this would be a nice compromise that doesn't force us to leave our house to access the dresser.
This would be a great solution, like "select dressing room" or an NPC that teleports you to it... maybe even just make it a menu option for jandelaine's little summon bell.Maybe they could attach something like an inn room to houses? they tested Glam dressers as a housing item before it was even released, but the game has such horrible base coding they were using from 1.x, which was already an unholy hellspawn of an engine somewhere between ff13, and ff15's engines (that were designed for different consoles) that the housing item literally crashed the server. This same silly code is why we still dont have a true 64 bit client, why despite the games horrible textures my game still runs on barely 70fps on a GTX 980TI in 1440p, and also one reason why flying isnt avaiilable in ARR areas.

(Ignore the levels on my character card, the tool i used to make it hasn't been updated for 4.0)
I've seen something along the lines of, 'there's too much data tied to the dresser to allow it to be moved around constantly and would be dangerous for server stability', for the reason as to why it's not here yet.
I love seeing people that have literally zero concept of what coding entails bash something they are clueless about. Stop making assumptions based on ignorance.
