They're confirmed as having job quests, and they'll likely run from 70 to 80. Job quests and role quests can exist alongside each other, there is no contradiction there.

Doesn't change the fact that they said they will get job quests. And that they cant be ran at the same time.

i think there no reason to add more jobs that by the end of the day do the same . tank/heal/close range dps/range dps.
what i think they can do is go the GW2 way, give the cornet jobs new weapon. like give drg a sward and make it tank. this be more interesting that just add new jobs.

At that point you might as well just make a new job since you'd have to give them new skills and stuff anyways.

There were, however they were entirely optional and were just a way to get some free materia since it was just a few "Travel to this spot and watch a cutscene" type quests that had you go revisit the NPCs from earlier job quests.

No jobs started at 70 in 5.0 either, in 6.0 we'll have 2 jobs that started at 70 so those jobs will have quests for level 70 to 80, and probably a cap quest at 90.

The Level 80 Job Quests are very short, and generally consist of you telling old NPCs from the previous questline about The First and the relevant Role Quest line... Kind of a small epilogue more than anything.

But anyways, I have heard they supposedly will keep the role quests and I do very much hope do it rather than Job Quests for 80-90, since that way they can get away with doing less quests so they can spend more time on each of them.
Even with possibly Ranged and Melee Physical getting split, it's 5 quest lines instead of the 20 they'd need to do for every class...
