Fatal directx error 1100002

Hello, I've been getting this crash for about a week now seemingly out of nowhere as i haven't made any hardware changes. It seems to occur randomly and varies wildly in how long I can play before it happens, between 10 minutes and around 5 hours.

Things I've tried to fix this:
Did a fresh install of the newest drivers.
Rolled back drivers to a previous version.
Reinstalled the game.
Tried fullscreen and windowed mode.
Took out my graphics card and cleaned it.

Where do you experience the crash? Does it occur when you are loading the game client? Were any updates or changes made to the PC that coincide with the crash?

No I always can get into the game before the crash happens, and the only changes to my pc were graphics driver changes but I've done a fresh install of the newest drivers and tried some older drivers as well and still crash.

Does the crash occur when any programs are running in the background? Could you try disabling background programs and overlays?

I've run the game with only steam open in the background since I own the game on steam so I have to have it open, and I disabled the steam overlay. The only thing that's fixed it is playing in dx9, but I don't think that's a permanent solution.

Could you try doing a clean boot? Open the task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.

Right now its looking like my GPU was dying, I was able to get one to swap with and didn't crash in dx11 after playing for about 2 hours.
