Increase Housing item limit please.

I've seen people divided over the topic of housing item limits.
Some of the issue's presented have been some people just fill their houses with junk, so much junk that you can't get around. I've been in houses like that too, I understand BUT That's not the case for every house, although it is a valid response, it shouldn't be the executive reasoning as to not increase housing item limits.
Others just say it's the sweet spot for X house but not for Z house. Maybe for very simple, minimalist housing.

@SE - I say, increase:
Apartments 100 to 150
Small Housing item limit from 200 to 250.
Medium House from 300 to 350,
Large House 400 to 450 -
it's a small change that can go a long way for players who love to decorate.
Please, Enix- increase the item limit for all housing.

Sidenote: I see alot of new items I want that are released for houses but I cannot use them due to the item limit being 200/200.

Also, if anyone wants to come visit my house which is currently on hold due to being capped at 200/200, it's Sargatanas- MIST- 17th Ward, Plot 48.

Personally, I think the increase should be more than just a +50. Large Houses have difficulty being seen as a "decorated" building with just 400 slots and I don't know if that'll change with 50. Maybe with a fair amount of dead space here and there.

Other than that, I'm all for it. So long as it doesn't make the houses TOO crowded. If that's even possible.

I think they should double the item slots in all areas, but honestly at this rate, I'd take anything, even if it is just 50 more items.

Hell, make it a gill sink, for ever 1mil you spend, you get another 50-100 slots to work with or something.

I would absolutely be down for that! Maybe they could set it up with building permits? Your standard one gets you the basic setup and unlocks the default slots, a deluxe one gets you half again as many slots inside and outside along with maybe one or two of the other much requested features (removable pillars, moveable ceiling lights, etc.) and costs twice as much as the basic permit, and a super deluxe permit gets you twice the item slots as basic and unlocks a bunch of exclusive features and costs four times as much as the basic permit.

Agreed, 50 more items would do wonders! Both my Small House and my Apartment is capped and there is about 10 more items I want to place in each. Q.Q

Large should be increased to 500 atleast there is just too much space to work with

The issue is more that the ratio of items to space is wrong.

A small house is (almost) the same size as two apartments - so, it gets two apartments worth of items, at 200.

But a medium house is not the same as three apartments, it's closer to four apartments, yet only gets 300 items.

And a large is most definitely not the same as four apartments, it's more like six (even larger than that really) but only gets 400.

I would like apartments and smalls to get a boost as well, but mediums and larges definitely need a lot more. I'd propose something along the lines of:

Apartments/Private Chambers: 125
Small: 250
Medium: 500
Large: 750

This would keep the item ratio fairly even with the amount of space across the different sizes.

As for why an item boost would be nice, well, there's a reason most of the popular house designers in this game are blocking off large amounts of space, the item limits are just not realistic! If you don't block off any space and lay out your furniture, you're going to end up with huge amounts of empty space and very little detail, making your house feel more like a museum. When you walk around your own home, do you have huge amounts of space between every piece of furniture? Probably not.

I'd round that apartment one up to 150, and the smalls to 300 as a result, purely for the sake of the round numbers Square seems to prefer. Otherwise I like your logic quite a bit.

oh god yes, please please PLEASE increase the item limit for housing.
I'm sad that we keep getting more pieces and ...the item limit keeps staying the same. I'm running out of space/just have no space to put any of the new stuff with out making sad compromises. I'd definitely love for this!
I'd argue for a lil more than 50, maybe 100 each just cause I'm greedy, but more item limit never hurt anyone. (50 slots can get used up quick)

I'd like the item limit for apartments to be increased from 100 to 200. I think they could probably all use a good 100 more item increase...
