Collector's Glove. One Can Use It. One Can't.

I was preparing to use my 2 best gatherers for assisting in the Ishgardian reconstruction. But for whatever reason, even though both of my gatherers are Level 70+ on both Miner and Botanist, only one of them is allowed to use the Collector's Glove ability which is necessary for supplying materials to assist in the Reconstruction. Both of them have the ability, but one of them can't use it. What is going on here and why can only one of my gatherers use Collector's Glove?

Do you have the ability on a shared hotbar? I think it's coded as two different skills, so you can't use the Miner skill on Botanist and vice versa.

If this is two different characters, do you have both of them having actually unlocked being able to do collectors stuff (I think it's done in Mor Dhona or Foundation)? The ability is gotten through a quest and if you haven't done the quest, you can put it on your bar but it won't work.

Actually, the mats for the current crafted Restoration collectables are gathered as normal items. You can sell them on the MB, which is something you can't do with collectable items. So until you sort out your issue, feel free to gather away.
