RisaKins, thank you for the reply.
Does the crash occur when the resolution is changed at all? Does it happen when the game is run at windowed mode or borderless full screen?
Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

The crashes are STILL completely random.
It will be during both window or borderless, and I have all resolution settings turned all the way down for the most part.

UPDATE!: So I have not changed anything, however it seems I've been able to stay logged in for long periods of time, and I took a chance on the new Nier raid, and I didn't DC once! I'm not sure if this is progress of some sort or if I just got super lucky <3

Got one error last night in Nier raid, and have been logged in all night. Just teleported to Limsa and got the error.

I've been having this issue constantly since 2 nights ago. I was logged in just fine for hours, then suddenly started crashing when I went to the Crystarium. I could log in after and would be fine until I left and tried to come back. Then it stopped letting me log back in at all and I'd get this error after choosing which character to log in.
I moved my character to Gridania using my husband's pc, and was able to log in on mine after, move around to other areas, but if I try to go to any Shadowbringers zone I crash with this error. I seem to be able to log into the areas I've tried after (Eulmore, Lakeland), except for Crystarium. I can't get back on after that until I've used a different PC to log in and move my character out of that area.
still no fixes to this 6 months in le sigh

As a laptop user, I've keep getting the same DirectX error (11000002) when I use DirectX 11 with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 980M. But because my laptop's a Alienware, I found my solution by installing a Alienware Graphics Amplifier with a Nvidia Geforce GTX Titan X installed. And I haven't had any problems ever since. But it would be really nice to find a solution to solve the DX11 crashes. I got my crashes since during Stormblood.
I get the same issues on and off. Sometimes I go for weeks without an issue but at it worst I seem to get it once a day (on occasions it also causes a BSOD)

It is absolutely ridiculous that this is still an issue. I can't go one play session without crashing multiple times and then only being able to get back in after about a dozen relogs if I'm lucky. This is a literally game breaking bug and Square Enix won't even acknowledge that it's on their side or that they're working on any sort of fix for it after months. I'm currently stuck being unable to play entirely because it crashed for absolutely no reason in Lakeland and I still can't get back in after around 20 tries to even leave the area where it crashes.

Guess I'll be saving some money each month now, because I literally can't log in to my character at all anymore because of DirectX errors. Thanks Square Enix.
