I can’t pin point it now, it happens at random.
It happens consistently in the new Nier raid, but also when I was decorating in the FC manor, and in towns sometimes. But crowded areas don’t seem to be an issue.
So it’s a little all over the place now.
This is becoming ridiculous </3
Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
I apologize for the delay in our response.
The error you are experiencing is a generic error, stating that the game could not continue to operate and thus closed. This can be caused by a multitude of things, making it difficult to pinpoint exactly where the issue stems from. This is also why this error is so common, different causes will end in the same result.
If you are experiencing this, I'd suggest trying the troubleshooting listed here: https://sqex.to/yHxyN
Unfortunately, since every PC is structured differently there is no single step that will fix every issue. As such, we'd recommend attempting all of the troubleshooting above.

So I was able to play Final Fantasy 14 all day today without a single error/crash. I did roulettes, new content, house decorating, jumped servers and even went to Eulmore at it's most populated time, and not a single DC or lag.
I hit about 11:57pm EST now, went back to the FC house to chat with friends and BAM another Error!
I can't figure out the connection between the crasshes aside from the repeated DX11 error messages.
Good morning and thank you for the reply.
Are you able to provide a screen shot of the crash error? If you have not done so already, could you try changing the compatibility mode? To change compatibility mode, right click on the exe file (Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn\boot\ffxivboot.exe), right click it and select ‘Properties.’ Select the ‘Compatibility’ tab and select Windows 7.

I have provided a selection of the errors on page one of this thread. And I have had issues with windows 7, I couldn't even login at all, which is why I'm officially using windows 10 now.Good morning and thank you for the reply.

Good morning and thank you for the reply.
You mentioned that you updated your graphics drivers. On your system report it shows that the latest update was back in 2015. Could you double check to make sure they are update to the latest version?

So i found a spot that consistently causes this crash.
Standing next to the "We are all mad here" bunny fate in the Eureka Pyros will cause a dx11 error. On the other hand, being in the same instance but not looking at it will not trigger it.
Yes my graphics drivers are completely updated, I don't know why it would show that.
Also, I AFK'd for the night and was logged in for an entire day with a DC of any kind, in my private estate.
I've updated with a few more DX11 errors from other users as well
