    Error 11023

    Hi, I'm trying to update to todays patch, and ironically, I also got a new virus protection(Norton Virus protection 2012) and I'm not sure if they're interfering with another.

    I had a fairly bad virus earlier that morning that I had to system restore to get rid of, and further scan with maelware bytes to clean some more. AT THAT TIME... I could log in. That was roughly.. 10am CST on monday the 26th. I went to town after that, and after doing chores and also getting the norton 2012, I came home ~2-3pm CST and I started to install norton, and when I finished, it was around 4-5pm. After when maintinence started. This is when I tried to start booting it up to download the update in advance.

    Appon bootng FFXIV client up I get this error..

    11023 Unable to access server for version check.(4:20455,20444,19901,13)


    So, I start to tamper around, and talking to people to see if they can patch. I find out, they can. And its small, yada yada. So, its me. Ok, next step. Try and find the problem. So, I spend probably.. 10 hours? Yeah, right about 10 hours scouring these forums, Norton forums, and also Windows site, trying to find fixes for small things that *might* be causing the issue, and I am so baffled now.

    Its only been happening since YESTERDAY, after getting home from the store, and (Maybe) after installing norton.

    My computer is an HP, windows 7, model number p6616f. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 210 in this computer, and I have a low ping Cable/DSL internet.



    Any help would be appreciated.
