GM Feedback: No action taken; setting double standards with griefing at hunt marks.

I'm going to start by saying that a small group of individuals on the Aether data center has taken upon themselves to be a bunch of deviants by trying to spawn and low man the ARR S rank hunts as much as possible.

This in itself is not actually anything wrong, though I've been attempting to defend my server's hunts from these guys by locating/relaying them quickly enough that people can generally still get there in time to get credit.

The problem is that said individuals are getting frustrated by this and have now decided to retaliate by attempting to reset the Forbidden Rebellion minions whenever they spawn in order to deny everyone the pile of nuts/tomestones that comes from the S rank in question. They do this by switching to BLU, waiting by the spawn point for one of the minions if a Shadowbringers S rank is currently being killed in the zone, then using Self-destruct to immediately aggro then reset the minion if it does show up, which prevents the Forbidden Rebellion from being spawned, as all four need to be successfully killed for this to happen but they'll despawn if they ever leave combat. One of them actually left a message on Discord stating their intent and basically saying they'd keep doing this unless I specifically stopped trying to interfere with them as I'm a lot more...diligent then most hunters when it comes trying to make sure everything is relayed/tracked to keep some semblance of order to things.

These players have been mass-reported during two different S ranks spawn waves but as of today, they are still camping out at Shadowbringers S ranks and persisting with this behavior; seemingly untouched by the GMs.

This makes absolutely no sense at all, because:

1. Most importantly, resetting an actual S rank is considered griefing and people have been banned for it; some of them people who were specifically trying to fight back against the malicious behavior of the players in question in a more aggressive manner.

2. Their intent is extremely obvious due to them consistently repeating a pattern of behavior that serves absolutely no purpose other then to anger and frustrate other players.

3. This is even worse then resetting a S rank because it straight up prevents one from spawning entirely and is denying people potential rewards.

I'm not sure what kind of backwards logic the GMs are following here, but all I can say is that I'm horribly disappointed that nothing is being done about this when they've been very prompt about addressing other forms of harassment/griefing. I also filed a report, but was simply left with a message saying I would not be receiving a response due to similar queries having already been heaped up against the players in question so I cannot fault a GM in particular for the lack of action.

If they're not going to actually address this matter, then something should be done to prevent this sort of griefing in the first place by making the minions more lenient in terms of what will/won't despawn them.

A second report for their most recent instance of trolling today did actually get a GM on the line, so I'll just have to see if something is actually done about the trouble player by tomorrow, as there's a whole mess of Shadowbringers S ranks waiting to spawn still.

I made sure to stress that the circumstances offer basically no room for this to all be a convenient accident.

From how I see it, a GM might have considered it as them trying to fight the mob and died. It's not like when you actually pull a mob away from others and force it to reset so that its HP goes 100% again, thus wasting everyone's time. Here they were solo, found a mob and got killed. That's why I think GMs aren't considering it as griefing. Unless they openly admit to that in-game.

But then again, if it was true that they're doing that, they're losing all SHB S ranks just to wait for the minions to spawn. So joke's on them lol. I say keep doing what you're doing and let them drown in their pettiness. More people are getting S ranks and they're losing SHB S ranks.

If it happened just once it could've been dismissed as an accident but when you have a level 18 BLU who keeps self-destructing on mobs in a Shadowbringers zone, there really isn't any kind of logical excuse you can make for them doing this.

Even if they didn't use Self-destruct (Which is being done specifically because it has a huge radius and thus doesn't require them to actually target the minion to immediately aggro it), they'd still be one-shot by anything they try to fight.

They've also made it very clear that they don't care about the rewards and are doing this strictly to piss people off because they can/will split up to keep multiple S ranks in different zones/servers covered even if it means missing out on credit.

Third wave of ShB S ranks since this behavior started and it's still going on. The player in question even went so far as to change their name to attempt to reduce people tracking them in player search...though it only worked for one trolling attempt.

The GMs need to stop making excuses for people who are getting so many reports piled on them because it wouldn't be happening if this wasn't a deliberate move to grief people.
