It doesn't matter... until it's the Nier raid, which I have seen happen a handful of times already. Regardless, if everyone had this mentality, then even LotA would never get cleared. Why should one or two people get 4M EXP for literally doing nothing?

And? Sometimes a disconnect happens. If you miss loot, you can always run the content again. Not only does it prevent people from being removed, they also purposely wait out the five minutes hoping people leave. Reducing it to two minutes is still enough time unless you have a bad disconnect, which case you probably aren't making it back in five minutes anyway, or a slow connection.
