I guess you don't realize that WAR gets Rampart and Sentinel from subbing GLA abilities. Furthermore, Stoneskin should be cast from a mage in your party so... both PLD and WAR get it! Right? Crazy, I know.

When your right your right, I never even thought to look to add it Rampart or sent, prolly cuz i was disenguaged about the job once i saw it was built for crowd control on equal to or smaller mobs. Like I said, WAR has its arena in wich to shine, but even b4 this patch , it was not the tank and spank arena. this is compareable to when SE released NINs and people used them to tank. sure was effective but you sacraficed a spot in the party that a better dd would have had otherwise. Each has their pros and cons, but I will challenge any to tank better then me on my PLD , like it or not PLD is built for the job the WAR is attempting to hold. Proof is in the pudding my freind, but i will agree to disagree. subject gets old when both sides repeat the same thing over and over

Just to add something:

I made my first 8/8 EXP party the other day. I went PLD with 2 other GLAs. Despite the tankiness, we were still rockin' pretty hard. Very little downtime with good exp (about 45k an hour I think, vs level 40 ants).

No WARs were present in the making of this party. Everyone played what they wanted, and we all had a blast.
