Also the WAR is the only one not wearing AF... interestingJust saw this on 2CH anyone see this?
http://www.4gamer.net/games/092/G009...006/SS/018.jpg that's the 2.0 UI screen shot we all know.
Look at the WAR, then look at party list and look at what his position is in the party... was thinking it would be A but guess not lol. /goodbye PLD
Also, an excellent chain to run for both hate and damage:
Aegis Boon > Phalanx > Bloodbath > Spirit's Within > Fast Blade > Savage Blade > Goring Blade
Spirit's Within and Fast Blade don't combo with each other, but you can do the entire above string of actions for only 1250 TP.
Corrected it for you. Also, an excellent chain to run for both hate and damage:

The Sentinel and Rampart are when they're up but you should be able to WD and Phalanx at the same time almost every time.
Even the combo you mentioned though does generate some nice enmity, and is pretty amazing if you can get that bleed off with Goring.
Doing stuff like this is exactly why I laugh when people suggest PLD can't hold hate.
Good catch. I didn't consider putting the defensive abilities in there. The added Rampart really boosts the whole thing.Corrected it for you.

I really love the sig and the post it comes from... it's so freaking true (even more so for GLA with featherfoot and the like).
Our good combos have us move around too, as if things weren't hectic enough...
Yea, what gets me is that people don't realize that even if you're tanking and the mob is facing you, you can still pull off rear combos and effects. (Bleeding from Goring Blade especially.)
The bigger thing we're missing from that link.... WE NEED CHOCOBO ATTACKERS!

So just did a test, WAR tank vs PLD tank on Great Buffalo. WAR is easily still better as tank, even on a single-target physical monster.
PLD: Partial block on Onrush, 1934 points of damage.
WAR: Partial parry on same Onrush, 62 points of damage.
I was the PLD, my friend was the WAR. I was red, not blinking red, basically the whole time. Right behind him but could never overtake his enmity generation. Part of the issue is the immense amount of damage WAR does in comparison, which equals so much more hate it's ridiculous. Add to that the 1k additional HP, Rampage +Crits and Antagonize/Sentinel + Vengeance you've just got way more tanking potential.
I thought you were supposed to sidestep onrush, I see your point about parry, but i fail to see why you'd let it hit you anywayif you can block something aegis boon would have reduced it to 0 and given you life, also.
