Disgusted with Ishgardian Restoration

While true, people want to be able to experience doing the fate, showing progress to the area that they helped. Which a lot are not being able to do.

I can agree to the experience but they'll be able to experience it at least once. This is just the first day and like the situation over at Disney+ everyone is simply curious to try it. But having already participated in the fate within the event I personally found it lacking. I am sure the hype will die down in the next few days if even that.

Also, I am not even sure if you contribute in the fate like you do with the turn-ins. Unlike with the turn-ins, I don't remember seeing a message saying you contributed 120 points. But even if that is the case, for some reason you can't even see how many points you've contributed to the restoration? Unless I missed it somewhere.

i was going to help with the fate but at first i couldn't Enter it because the Area was full due to the Problem with World Visit. Now, 8 Hours later in the Morning i was hoping that now is my time to shine for the fate. Nope, was in that Area but i couldn't see the items to interact with. Congratulation SE, you have done it. Hopefully they investigate these issues ...

Problem is how fast it actually is going. Already at stage 2.

I work full time. Yesterday I came home in the evening, then we did Ultimate prog for 3 hours, went to bed and well now (I'm at work) I see it's already at stage 2.
We will do Ultimate again this evening ...
So it will be already stage 3 then?

Should have multiplied the stuff required by about 8 or so. There's just too many people swarming the event on all servers and taking the fun away from other people.

I imagine it'll die down significantly as people get all the Skybuilder Scrip exclusives and realize that there isn't really much going on with it besides farming those.

Unless there is more significant stuff with further stages (I'm a poor EU pleb), you can pretty much get the exact same experience as the FATE from simply visiting the zone before and after. It's 500 free Scrips and an "Interact with A, then B, then C" level FATE. Not exactly a groundbreaking gaming experience... Honestly I get more of a feel for what happens from reading the flavour text left on the board (which anyone can go back and read) than I did from actually participating...

I had no idea this was an issue at all until now. I spent over 2 hours crafting items inside and left briefly to gather more materials 20 minutes before the event only to come back and not be allowed back in because wanderers and afk people are congesting the instance. To say that I'm slightly pissed off right now would be an understatement. SE needs to fix this quickly.

While I agree with op something needs to happen such as adding instances, please all of you, just join the Ishgardian Restoration discord. It has timers for all servers listed that way if you miss out on your own server you can then feasibly go to another world 30mins to an hour ahead of time and wait. While having to plan and waste time waiting sucks, it at least will allow you the opportunity to at least participate in fates and gather the scrips and exp.

The problem is not always getting there in time, but also the sheer volume of people occupying the instance. I was stuck inside for 35 minutes and when the fate started, there were so many characters that even the culling wasn't enough, thus the FATE objects didn't even load on my screen, preventing me from doing it at all.

It was a horror show.

And I think these events shouldn't be cross server. At all.
