Hi everyoneI have a couple of messages from Yoshi-P in regards to some comments on the Japan side where players have been discussing congestion issues with instanced raid content.

I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the overcrowding of instanced raids.
We were investigating this issue based on the entry and exit logs from the weekend, but as we were observing the instancing, we discovered a bug in which 2-3 instances are claimed although nobody entered them. We are currently focusing our efforts on determining a cause for this issue and we will notify you of any updates.Hi, this is Yoshida, the producer/director.

We are looking into developing a back-up plan in patch 1.21a for downed servers related to job quest instances. Also, we are investigating the bug in which empty instances are being claimed and we think that increasing the number of slots for instances will only lead to possible confusion as to what the problem may be.
We are looking into increasing the number of instances, so once we determine the congestion situation following the mergers, fix the instance claim bug, and observe the stability for a while, we will come up with a final decision.
In terms of the server load for each server, the current loads are lighter than they were at the time of the initial release, so the downed servers and instance claiming bug are not simply caused by server overload. My guess is that some sort of newly implemented content is destroying the server memory.
Our priority is to solve these issues and recover stability, so please bear with us for a while.

Well it is! Personally I would be grateful to see the game bursting with life again. Whilst the game has come so far its population is but a spark of its former flame. But I remain confident that the flame will be ignited in the coming months and we will see that swell in numbers again.

With the maintenance that occurred this morning, we have implemented countermeasures for the congestion issues of Aurum Vale and Cutter’s Cry.
Yoshi-P mentioned this in his comment the other day, but he wanted to prioritize the stability of the servers first and afterwards is planning to make a final decision about increasing the number of instances.

Now if you would fix people Being forced to disconnect at the same time in the instances during key fights. This just happened minutes ago.
Miser's Mistress: Two players, Our WHM and one of our MNKs. The players live in different states and are on different ISPs.
Both kicked out of game at the same time. We lost thanks to this stupid crap.
