    Severe lags only limited to Final Fantasy 14

    Good evening,
    im experiencing severe lags at the moment, my game ist not getting server ticks while my information is still being send as far as i can tell since everything except me is frozen on place on my screen including mana and spell procs but moving and casting skills is still seen for other people, i already had this problem a while ago but then it was gone without anything changing including network settings.

    and to awnser the last question of the thread there where no changes in the network settings neither when the lags dissapeared nor now that they are back again, also im only experiencing lag in FF14

    Good afternoon

    Im connected directly to the router, also like i said everything else is completly stable, there are no lags in other games downloads work perfectly fine i even tried streaming the lags for a friend and the stream was perfectly fine in terms of connection so im pretty sure the cause lies somewhere within ff14

    What have you tried so far to alleviate the issue? Where in game do you experience lag? Have any updates or changes been made to the network settings?

    Good evening thank you for the reply.

    There where no changes in the Network settings,
    i experience lags in random places not related to population or specific locations at random times so player numbers dont have anything to do with it,
    i tried opening the ports manually and doing a lot of other trouble shooting when i last time reported the problem i linked to the closed thread in my first post of the thread but i can copy the things that where tried if using the link is not an option for moderators,
    looking at the post i see that the trouble shooting last time was with the same moderation account.

    Since you've tried all of the troubleshooting and you aren't on a wireless connection, it's likely that you are running into a routing issue along the way to the server. This might explain why you aren't experiencing issues with other services.

    In this case, I'd suggest contacting your ISP regarding the issue and make a report with them.

    do you have an advise on how to contact my ISP about the issue?
    also is it a known problem since i know quite a few people with the exact same issue as myself we all are from germany,
    i also read somewhere the last time that it seems to be a routing issue specific to germany and to only solution that was found back then was to use a third party tool to manually route to the server and im wondering if my ISP says they cant be bothered to look into it if my only chance is to pay for another software for a smooth gaming experience?

    There haven't been any ongoing issues with the Data Center. I wouldn't be able to provide information about your ISP, however when you contact them, explain the situation and see what options they can provide you. At the very least, you can report that you are having an issue with their service.
