    first unable to download patch, now unable to connect to lobby

    ok so after fixing this "Unable to download patch files. [30413][25008][20495][20495]" error by using cyberghost vpn to download the patch. I now cannot log into my world.
    "The Lobby server connection has encountered an error: 2002"
    I'm at my wits end. FIX YOUR SHIT SQUARE ENIX

    Are you using the VPN when connecting to the game? If so, can you try logging in without it? Are you connected directly to the router or are you using WiFi?

    It will not allow me to play without the vpn. I tried again today without it and got the same error. Unable to connect to lobby 2002. I reconnected my vpn to a usa server and logged in without any issues.
    Playing with a direct connection to my router, no wifi. Windows 7 64bit. NBN max speed package with internode. All drivers up to date. not sure what other information is even valid since this seems to be location issue judging by the fact it seems to only effect australians and other Oceania players.

    Using aussie broadband, was working perfectly until 5.11.
    Was having problem patching during 5.1 but miraculously managed to downloaded it without doing anything.
    But not so lucky this time... Can't even download patch even with ghostvpn....

    Unfortunately, if you need the use of a VPN to connect to the game server, then you are likely running into a routing issue along your way to the server. The VPN is taking you along a different route that avoids these issues. In this case, I'd suggest contacting your ISP and making a report with them.
