Unable to download patch files. [30413][25008][20495][20495]

This is the 2nd consecutive patch that refuses to download past the first step - other players in my FC are getting this identical issue (We all live in Australia).

Old and new launchers both give same error at approximately 20mb downloaded "Unable to download patch files. [30413][25008][20495][20495]"

Have tried:
* ipconfig /flushdns
* mobile phone tether as alternative internet connection attempted (This did work on previous patch but won't work on the new ??)
* Deletion of temp files downloaded in \Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\downloads
* disabling antivirus
* running launcher as administrator

Windows 10, 64x os


This is *extremely frustrating* having to go through this process two patches in a row

I am from Singapore here and I had this issue just now. My issue was solved when I used a VPN connection. Not sure about your side, but it definitely had something to do with connection or a router problem which had been stated in the past.

same problem here (perth) .... last time it worked after doing everything ppl suggested in those other threads several times repeatedly in different orders until the gods of randomness smiled on me, they alone know how long it will take this time

Also from Australia and having the same issue. VPN does not work, DNS trick does not work, mobile tether does not work (but did work last time). What is going on?

I am connected to my modem/router by ethernet cable, I have disabled my firewalls and antivirus, I run the launcher as administrator and I am logged into my computer as an adminitrator.
The issue has been reported on Reddit again, as it was for 5.1 too.

I'm from from Melbourne, Australia and having the same issues. Was able to use DNS flush on patch 5.1 issues but I've exhausted all the methods for patch 5.11. Been trying for the last 1 hour.

Please help us get a fix SE!

Using a VPN fixed the issue, but the fact that ppl from ASEAN and Oceania have to deal with this is trash, SE.

Also in Melbourne, Australia and also having the same issues that happened with 5.1 too. Changing my DNS, which worked last time, isn't working this time and I refuse to install some random VPN onto my machine just to download a patch for an MMO.
