I'm not fussed if 8man premades ever comes back or if there is no 24man option of the current Frontlines (because honestly, they belong in 72man 1v1v1 just due to the map sizes and the actual mechanics of each individual mode if nothing else), but I would appreciate a smaller scale battle to play (apart from Feast) - even if it winds up being solo queue only. Like others have mentioned, even if it's a first to 3 caps/10 minute 10v10 limit CTF. I know a couple of our Frontlines are inspired by MOBA type games, take a leaf out of an FPS book and give us some kind of Search and Destroy mode whilst you're at it, that'd be interesting. Be creative.

Back on the note of smaller scale battles, if that does come back, role lock them and make sure people play as the role type they've queued in as. So by all means Scholars can swap to AST/WHM, PLD can go WAR, DNC can go Monk whatever, but it'd solve a potential issue people would have with these game types where they're won especially in a solo queue because one team had two people actually willing to go healer and . If you have to, make several of different team sizes - oh and for the love of god make them 1v1, because it'll end badly if it's in the 1v1v1 format we have now - and put them on a roulette so you can get into the smallest of the smaller modes when you're not queueing at the best of times; obviously this would take the length of an entire expansion and a half to design and be an incredibly large use of resources but whatever, I'm willing to wait.

And actually make wolf marks usable on something other than Glam please, even if you have to increase the cap and introduce some super expensive items that cost like 200k marks I don't care. At least then I feel like I'm waiting for something rather than buying a glam that doesn't even look good that I'll never wear just because sitting on cap is painful.
