I don't disagree that in the Feast community we agree there should be more rewards you should get for actively participating in Feast, rather than collars at the end of the season that can only buy weapons and that's about it, it'd be nice to see more things you can get in season. But to emphasize entire data center as though it's a busy ladder that's hard to break into is incorrect, anyone can get top 100 and it's been like that way for several seasons, just have to be bothered to play enough games, you don't even have to be good I know one healer specifically from Stormblood who got Hunter on 3 diff seasons and they just never improved, they were barely gold level it's just they managed to get carried in enough games to win enough to be where they were and a couple of the seasons she played in were seasons quiet enough where she only had to get like 1600-1700.

But I believe the bulk of the point you're making is the rewards absolutely suck for active participation and on that, I couldn't agree more and that is why people don't play, they see top 100 as an end goal and a far away view point, it isn't as far away as they think and getting it in your first season is an extremely realistic possibility, but they don't go that far because they would see it as "what's the point when I get nothing for trying along the way and that's the only way I'll get anything out of this". I remember when I started playing Arena on WoW. Would I have gotten R1 if there was nothing for me to achieve before that point? No - I'd have stopped playing once the novelty of doing something new, competitive and "fun" had worn off and stuck to Battlegrounds. But when I started playing Arena, the gear you got from it required certain goal points in rating to buy, like 1400, 1600, 1800, 2.2k etc. You were sort of encouraged to improve to reach that next goal post which wasn't "far" in numbers, but in improvement the difference between 2k and 2.2 compared to 1400-1600 was pretty big. I mean 15 wins orso would get you 1400 and I think 1400 was for the gloves. You were getting rewarded for improvement. Even if you get gold tier, then platinum tier, the season has to end for the title and it'll only count what you ended in, which is a design I've never really understood. For the ladder rank titles yes, for the tiers no.
