Did you not read, or just not comprehend? I'm not asking for nerfs. I'm asking for some sort of incentive to do them at level cap. As CazzT said:No ty. Fates are already enough of an easy faceroll even with you having a lower level than them. If i want to feel like i hit some mobs i have to wait the night when nobody else is here, otherwise they are down way too quickly. With the strange synch that make them even more easy with capped stuff we dont need even more capped players doing them.
Also please stop asking for nerfs when something require some time and effort, for complaining after that that there is so much players in df and pf who dont know how to play properly.
Perhaps if there was a gil bonus, or more gemstones per FATE, it would be more worth doing.Once I get all my jobs to 80, I can't see any purpose for continuing to do Fates anyway, short of picking up a few items that I may not already have. the incentive to do Fates isn't there due to the lack of items worth spending the gemstones on, not the amount of gemstones rewarded.
Gil, maybe, but doubtful. Gemstones, zero incentive, for the reason I pointed out. What good are the gemstones to me when I have nothing worth spending them on? Gil would have to be massively boosted for me to take time out of my list of other activities to do Fates once I've completed the Ranks and leveling up.

Given that they added materia to the vendor, a large enough boost to the gemstones earned would make it worth it for buying and selling materia alone.Gil, maybe, but doubtful. It would have to be quite the bonus though to make it equal with other ways of obtaining said materia.
And if you're done with / can't do / whatever those bazillion other things? Why not put replay value in the thing that is ALWAYS there? I'm not saying that every bit of content needs to remain relevant, but FATEs are arguably one of the things that could stay relevant all day every day in some manner simply because they are always spawning / active.I do think it's ok for you to "finish" with certain content after a while. If you're done leveling and you don't need the gemstones, there are only a bazillion other things to do in the game that aren't leveling content.
As for additional rewards, SE actually did add some in 5.1. They may keep doing that as time goes on, they may not. But it's not really critical for every piece of content to remain relevant all the time.
If they really wanted FATEs to fall by the wayside forever, they would just stop adding them. I think the shared FATE system was a step in the right direction, but it needs to be expanded.
The Shared FATE system is just a vehicle for bicolor gemstones. Some other buyables open up at rank 3, but the grind to get there is absurd. I think the original intention was that you'd be working on that over the course of the entire expansion. However, that just isn't how MMO players work.
I doubt very sincerely that SE wants "FATEs to fall by the wayside forever" because that doesn't make any sense. The FATE system is fine. It does its job. What it does not do is provide evergreen content for the rest of time. Eventually you're going to be done... whether because you've leveled everything or because you have no further need of bicolor gemstones.. or some combination of the two. Eventually the usefulness of FATEs will diminish for your own purposes. That has to be ok.
So then that begs the question: Why does it have to be okay? The Shared FATE system is just a vehicle for bicolor gemstones. You're looking at it strictly as leveling and bicolor gemstones.
So why does that have to be it?
Why can't there be an added bonus for doing it at max level? Even bicolor gemstones can always have a use as long as materia can be bought, so why not increase the amount given at max level to make the time spent buying those equivalent to how you can obtain them from other avenues?
You've basically only said that it doesn't need to be anything more than what it is, without explaining why you think leaving them almost entirely useless is okay.
