It was much better before and there is always will be a match 15 to 20 mins at non peak time. It is usually against people that are there to PvP, not for the reward. It was much more fun and challenge instead of current zerging
Removing 24man frontlines was really bad move. Been pvping for years in this game and the new queue times are insane. I really hope they restore 24mans because this is terrible even in primetime and completely dead outside, unlike before.

I think maybe people don't enjoy the new pvp style. I'm just hoping SE adjusts some Warrior abilities, namely Nascent Flash, to make the class fun again.
I think FFXIV PvP has some charm to it, and it has grown on me for sure. But I can certainly understand that it doesn't appeal to a majority of people.
However, I think the current size for Frontline is not a good idea when the majority of the population looks away from PvP in general. It needs to become lower numbers. Not even World of Warcraft which is a way heavier PvP game use these large numbers in a single PvP match.

It used to (Wintergrasp, Tol Barad, Ashran) and still does in two modes (Isle of Conquest, Alterac Valley), the former being a massive issue because most servers were skewed in favour of a particular faction, and so if you were on the worse end of the deal even with a million stacks of Tenacity your chances of winning were almost nonexistent. In fact WoW was worse for it, before with the first 2 PvP battles mentioned, raid bosses were locked behind them and before they made it so there needed to be an equal number of players inside for both factions; I never even got to see VoA as current content because I was Alliance on Deathwing EU, which never had any chance of winning when we were outnumbered practically 4:1.

thats how frontline was always before the moogle event, I never bothered with it at early morning or late night because it would take too long, took me 15 minutes at 11pm yesterday and that is good for pvp.
This is true and I sort of forgot about it.It used to (Wintergrasp, Tol Barad, Ashran) and still does in two modes (Isle of Conquest, Alterac Valley), the former being a massive issue because most servers were skewed in favour of a particular faction, and so if you were on the worse end of the deal even with a million stacks of Tenacity your chances of winning were almost nonexistent. However, I do think that it's easier to create a matchup when it's 2 factions (Horde Vs. Alliance) rather than 3 factions like FFXIV has it, even if you're able to freelance it. Not many people do.

Wait for almost 2 hours for a Frontline on a Sunday mourning? Just because of some amateurs complaining about being ston by premade?
Flusters gives us back 24 men and let those who don’t want to improve cry us a river
What I find most shocking is that certain players feel that this change was a net positive, and defend it using the well that is PvP wait for more rewards. It baffles me personally.
the last update killed pvp on many layers, before I had fun leveling up my jobs from 30 to 50 just on pvp matches
please redo it :/
