Then considering how stuff gets responded to on the forums starting a thread like that and making an ingredient list from in game and posting some pics. Getting others to do the same would probably get some sort of community response.

I feel like OP just wanted to make a cryptic sexual post lol
Hey look at me I want attention /threadHello, everybody!
There's a wide variety of real world desserts that are available within FFXIV. Some are rather well known but others are more obscure.
One of my favourite things to feed my friends at a dinner party is a big plate of Spotted Dick. It always goes down a treat and they're ever so eager to gobble it all up! For those unaware, it's a British dessert:
The ingredients and further information are available here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotted_dick
I am led to believe that the ingredients are actually all available within FFXIV already, so in theory it should be an easy enough affair to add it as an in-game dish. I would like for it to be a housing item, to display on a table within my character's house.
I wonder what in-game region the dish could originate from?

Personally I'm liable to regard it as being something that would fit Ilsabard, given what we know of that region suggests it has a western/northern European feel, if not being outright British - hells, it could even be from Garlemald itself.
After all, as far as I am aware we haven't yet seen a single Garlean foodstuff or meal in the game so this is as good an example of British crusine to appear as a FFXIV meal as any - hence my tongue-in-cheek hypothetical 'in-game example' description for it I posted before mentioning it being Garlean in origin.![]()

I've had some spotty dicks when it was international cuisine day at one of my old jobs but it was the canned version that you had to warm up. I've never quite had the chance for a homemade version. Anyway, I would be surprised if anyway on the dev team even knew what that was as I surely didn't when I first had it.
