Was a quick shop of my first encounter with Nototious monsters while on my Botanist. Back before people knew where/when these guys spawned I was just walking along chopping up trees and didn't think nothing of a mass of goblins (The had a tendancy to bunch up in certain areas where the AI glitched up in treespeak) Was lining them up for a funny screenshot until I noticed a few had pulled out their swords....

Didn't end well for me.

What a great thread.

FFXIV team, you rock! You have been working so hard to make this game the best it can be, and it absolutely shines through. Myself, as well as many members of my LS, are recently returned after 1.21/Jobs, and we are just blown away at how much fun we are having. The improvement since launch is palpable, and I don't think I've had this much fun in an MMO since my very first one (Asheron's Call back in 1999, when I was a wee lad of 13). I am addicted to the game, and the forums too (work...what?).

And a special shout out to Yoshi-P. I know the rest of the team deserves just as much mention, but since I am mostly only familiar with his articles/comments/etc., I feel like he has the most exposure. So anyway, Yoshi-P man, everything you say about this game is inspiring. It's so great to know we have someone in charge who clearly cares deeply for the game and for the players' enjoyment. You are rocking out so far dude, keep it up! Sometimes the forums can be a negative place, but you definitely need to know there are a ton of people loving this game and supporting you 100%!
