The 2019 Furnishing Contest Wasn't Handled Well?

Perhaps I'm a minority in this, but I feel that there shouldn't have been duplicates in the 2019 Furnishing Design Contest. Or at least, not to the extent that there was.
Counting up how many people won how many times ( 7, 6, 5, 3, and six doubles ) that is 33 duplicates. That means that 67 got the hairstyle, when I for one was expecting 100 separate winners all being able to show off their hard-earned prize. I'm not against multiples from one winner, but since it's being treated as ' 100 winning furnishings ' and not ' 100 winners and here's some of their furnishings '. It doesn't feel fair. I myself tried really hard and racked my mind for days to make a bunch of ideas and designs, and seeing that 33 more people could've won as well, my heart goes out to others who may be disappointed over how this went as well.

Edit: the announcement clearly said entry where entry clearly meant each furnishing. Ergo that's 100 furnishings, not 100 players.

Doing a rough copy paste it looks like 130 entries were posted. I know SH had a lot mentioned (I'm glad because I'd love to see their cafe become reality - I recognized some of the pieces immediately) but it seems like there were more than 100 selected to accommodate for overlap.

The rules said participants would be able to submit as many as they like, and we weren't allowed to enter multiple objects in one entry anyway. It's cleaner this way, and it would be unfair to omit good designs simply because someone made more than one good design.

I think posting as many as they did means they took this into consideration, since it is more than 100.

Someone mentioned that there were more then 100 winners, the person who mentioned it counted 129, and I went back to see and I counted about 125 winning entries.

So the number of people with duplicate entries was 11, who totaled a number of 33 entry wins themselves.

With that in mind, it seems like 102 - 106 individuals actually won the contest (including duplicates). I wasn't super careful with my count, but It seems that it is actually about 100 individuals who won the contest.

While I understand this argument when it comes to contest like the house-decorating one, I have to say that in this context its in our collective best intrest to pick the best over all entries. I'd rather see a very creative and skillfull person win 3 or 4 times and get 3 or 4 nice furniture out of it instead of getting one very nice piece and 3 less amazing ones that were only picked because they "had" to give out prices to more people.

If they designed multiple excellent items, then they in accordance with the rules are allowed to 'win' with those items.

I'm more concerned that we still don't have multiple furnishings from the 2017 pool of winners, most of them water themed. We have quite a few water themed winners this time around and I wonder when we will ever see them.
