@ OP:
So you want to keep the sense of community by reducing community interaction? ....like...what? o.O?
It's true a single well thought out post will garner more actual responses than multiple posts on the same topic.
Weigh the pros and cons in your OP, try and keep your personal bias outside the equation at least until the last bit where you can spew on your opinion of the subject. Bring a idea forth flesh it out as best as you can try and see how both sides are going to look at the thread and respond and let the discussion flow from there.
You don't see me making 800 threads about bestiaries or Monster AI, I leave them in my signature and even outside of GD I've garnered alot of attention to my ideas. (Good and bad) You need to take it all in stride and avoid just making another topic if your original one falls from the first page. Avoid bumping it and if it continues to trail leave the topic alone everyone has either had their say, or the topic isn't interesting enough to keep peoples attention.
Even if you have multiple threads in the same vien (About instanced content) try not to link them together to avoid people getting upset noticing the link between them.
my head hurts..
F U The server Implement---- OPen a freken open world HNM and i'll accept this Server merge c arp for dungeon search.
I'am so tired of se just giving stuff to player's who doesn't want open world. At least give something to everyone who plays this S T U P I D G A M E since the start... I'am fairly Pissed thank you thank se.. I'am lasting this long hoping that one day open world and dungeon and pvp will be in one game not just La ME dungeon Or LA mE open world HNM.... make it fun for everyone---- not just one Group if you want to make MONEY SE D a M N it
I call BS on this. Several parts of the game could really use an automated queue system that teams players up for completing things like levequests, caravans, story/job quests, etc. etc.
The only time I see something like this being a problem, is when it comes down to doing dungeons. I find it very difficult to party with someone i've never met before and be totally comfortable with their ability perform well in my group. Now imagine if the entire group was made from a grab bag, WOW that would suck. This game really punishes you for one party member not doing what they're supposed to. There's almost no room for error in end-game dungeons. Repeating instructions for every pick-up group you get into is also bothersome.
HOWEVER
I don't feel that the Content Finder should be totally avoided either for the aforementioned reasons. There's a use for it, that much is certain. It's all up to how they implement it. Regardless, giving players more options is NEVER a bad thing.
This.It doesn't change anything, it just gives more options.
You can currently:
- Know enough people to run with (friends/linkshell)
- Shout for help (strangers)
With a content finder, you can:
All this does is add options. Like I said before, stop trying to hold the game back because you personally disagree with something. You don't have to use it, so it doesn't hurt you in the slightest.
- Know enough people to run with (friends/linkshell)
- Shout for help (strangers)
- Randomly get grouped with people from another server (strangers)
SE seriously... please do not listen to some of the players in this forum board.. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a conspiracy to destroy FFXIV with some of these idiotic ideas these people rant about.
