If you feel that way about it to the point that you have make multiple threads showing how much that its effecting your real life (which it obviously is) then simply stop playing ffxiv, problem solved....

That's rather subjective. I don't think it will help the server community at all if anything help make people even more introverted.

Know what we need? A petition to get rid of petitions! Who wants to start it first? We've got plenty of volunteers.

Seriously though, there's just too many petitions these days. Asking to maybe get something changed is one thing, but making petitions continuously over a feature you don't like won't get it removed. Not saying I like the Content Finder deal, but I'm not against it either. It's one of those don't use it if you don't like it things. Confirmed it's going to be added either way so may as well accept it now and try offering feedback as to how it could be improved or reasons why you won't use it beyond "I don't like it!" as a reason.

Just thinking it would genuinely help and make the community reps like Bayohne and Rukiiri notice them better if they don't think, "Oh, I've already looked at that player's concerns, and I think I've read that entire thread last week."

There's value in scarcity and weight in brevity.
