My girlfriend and i would love to obtain the nier outfits but it is locked behind shadowbringers and we are only up to the start of stormblood, we don't want to skip it and i am wondering if you will be obtainable from casino or from the mogstore in the future?

The NieR event is permanent and will always be available. Take your time.

It's not an event, its a permanent 24 man raid and will be in the game for many many years, for as long as the servers are up.

Removing Rathalos and the Nier would be removing instances, which has never happened in this game as far as I can remember. Garo was an event NPC.

"Some time" was still years in the case of Garo, and even if the NieR collaboration isn't truly permanent, it will certainly be in the game for the rest of 5.X while its three-part storyline plays out.

There's absolutely no need to skip content to get it at this point.

Fair point about the instance removal with Rathalos, though it could still happen. And I think Yorha raid is definitely permanent as it's part of this expansion's gear progression system.
