Various reasons, one of them being able to avoid that type of problem that you just describe.

There are some people that queues in with little to no clue of exactly what to do in that current game that's expecting for someone to show them the way. Not everyone has the same experience. Can you really blame the pugs?

Either way, I'm still sticking with the issue being an adaption issue. What I mean is that there are options that hasn't been tried yet to deal with that type of group. It's hard to say in 72 man, because it's hard working with a big group whether you're premading or not. 24 man you have a bigger impact with how the game goes whether people know it or not.

Let's say, for example, that the bloodthirsty group is taking your base and is on their way to your spawn camp. Does anyone on your team have a Plan B or C to deal with this?

My take is not adapting but rotating maps. Pugs didn't have as a big disparity now as they used to when only one mode was active. Even the most casual player will get an understanding for the game/map when it is the only one they see for 6 months.

This is a ridiculous conversation that really doesn't require 20 pages. Of course premades are oppressive. Imagine queing solo, as good as you think you are, facing 8 people greater or equal to your skill level. Ffs your playing against people that have literally spent 2+ years of their life of game time in that game mode. Imagine betting your money, what kind of odds would you want. The real question is if we should care, its just a casual format to begin with. I mean if your singular goal is to make the game mode fair then a forced solo freelancer q would be required. Doing so would ruin the experience for some, again ultimately its a game and people should be having fun and that means playing with friends.

I think you've either skipped over the thread or you're not grasping the issue. This isn't people complaining about parties of eight for the large majority of this thread. This thread is talking about players who are all joining the same GC and queue syncing so that they're all on the same team resulting in groups of 14 - 18 people all on Discord working together cohesively just to pug stomp. This is something that's outside of a normal player's ability to do. The max party size you can have via normal means is four players. Pugs can no longer make a party finder and try to find players to PvP with and compete against this. Secondly, the GC queue syncing is actually a violation of the Terms of Service. This isn't an adaption issue at all. There are numerous vets on this very thread calling this out.

How do you overcome a group of 16 people all working together in Discord plus their other random eight pugs with your light party that's limited to four? Even if pugs listen to your callouts to the cue, you are still disadvantaged regardless of how you look at this. Your reasoning of "just adapt" in this case means Violate the ToS to do the same. I do think removing eight player parties was unnecessary, and I didn't have an issue with premades before. I do have an issue of people exploiting to stack 16 on the same team.
