The fact that you tried to equate rescue to shirk totally convinces me that you have no idea how Shirk works. Maybe wait until you actually know about what it is you're talking about before giving any input in a discussion.

I'm a PLD at raid level, thanks very much, a quick glance at my lodestone would tell you that. Shirk is an ability that gives 25% of your aggro to target party member, forcibly manipulating their enmity against their will. I could use it to kill party members who I didn't like if I were MT. A quick shirk, death, voke.

I like how vague, yet patronising, your comment is "you are wrong, I won't tell you why, but please stop posting until you have learned to tank".
