Really? over a limmit break? (short rant/sttory)

So.. i got booted from The Copied Factory for Using a limit break. of all things!

Had someone scream at me in the party because I used a limit break on a boss
Didn't think much of it because we survived most of the mechanics, it did some damage and that's how most of he other raids I've been in did.

then barely anybody stood in the second wave of circles everyone died. something i didn't foresee.

Had this guy constantly complain the wipe was all my fault. despite team C healers surviving. telling everyone I was a troll who already had he gear.

Managed to defeat the boss. but i guess he didn't like me to the point he had me kicked during the last boss.

so that was a nice hour wasted. so Just warning you guys that's there's a few toxic people running these raids.

It does end happily however the group i ran with next not only sped through the raid but I managed to win somehow!

Nope. Can't delete a thread once it has been made. And mods won't delete it unless it's against rules or is otherwise objectionable (and posting a new thread for something that should go in an existing thread is almost always not considered objectionable by the mods).

Feel for you fam. I'm just happy to see DPS use a LB AT ALL in dungeons/raids. The amount of LBs left unused on a daily basis is laughable, and then you get the idiot casters that burn it when there is a melee in the group on single target fights... and THEN there are DPS that don't even know how to LB or where to find the ability button for it... I just assume all DPS are stupid until proven otherwise (I main as tank, offspec as heals).

But be careful who and how to judge. I am waiting for the Limit Break because I think "they" might do it anyways and suddenly, the timeframe becomes very short between "Losing potencial" and "Better than nothing".
As you say, my fellow damage dealers often don't do Limit Break, so I let it loose. Better let the Red Mage do it then nobody is what I think, but as said, that timeframe is comparibly short. So either way, you might think about "that stupid RDM did it"; but after all, you'd have said: "None of the DPS did it!".

Which of those two bad situations above you want to choose for me?

The situation where we all wipe because the RDM LB is so digdarn
bad on everyones eyeballs and no one can see jack so we just die in the process lol.
I rather no one use the LB before I have to suffer temporary blindness LOL.

As an AST who has been babysitting these raids for about 15 or so runs, sometimes almost single handedly carrying these raids from start to finish, screw them.

No one needs Healer LB3 in this raid. If they "need" it, they're unreasonably bad. I've used it a few times, but if I didn't have it I would have put up without it. Like I have. Many times.

This so much. I'm sorry to ruffle feathers but lb3 healer is not a requirement to clear fights and if you're screaming at someone for using it to kill the boss faster, then congrats: either you're in a bad party or you're using it as a crutch.
