Lets Talk Relic glows for a second

So Im going to come out and say it. SE devs SUCK at picking weapon glows.

My Suggestion/Request: maybe they see this maybe not if anyone knows where i can make these quest in another section let me know

so here it is

1. Can we please get a npc that can change our glows or make it possible in the dye section CAN WE PLEASE CHOOSE THE GLOW. the devs are just bad at picking colors some weapons are nice most are awful looking. I think everyone would appreciate something like this

2. also please make it where we can turn the glow off and on. sometimes the glows are so awful it sucks cause i want to upgrade my weapon but the glow makes it look like crap so Im stuck with i need to upgrade my weapon but i wont be able to get the a replica til hydaelyn knows when. I mean how can i be a respectable RAWRGAWR and go to raid with an ugly glamour...

those are my request/suggestion again if anyone knows a better place to make this seen please feel free to respond

All I know is I hated the glow from the final Eureka weapons and I hope they never do it like that again. All of the relics were completely ruined by the terrible glow effect. Reminds me of the glow effect on Enchanted Weapons in Morrowind which released back in 2002. I'd love an option to turn the glow off those weapons. Some of the models are quite nice, but ruined by the glow.

I just got my Zodiac relic for Dragoon. I don't have problem with the glow but I do prefer the Gae Bolg over the Longinus. So I went and bought the replica for Glamour.
Do the newer relics not give you the option to buy the replicas after you finish all the quests?

Yoshi P addressed that request in an interview saying that it will require significant work to change the glow color.

You can now buy replicas without the glow.

I have to glamour over it to remove the glow. I'm not fond of glowing weapons in general.

I personally would like armor glow or some variant. Glow should vary depending on the materia you have melded in the gear and what level it is. Some other MMO's have this.

Weapon glow is ok because it is only visible when the weapon is in use for the most part. I guess armor glow as long as it was subtle and only activated in combat like a lot of the early armors in Aion would be interesting. But please no always on glowing armor.

Let Guild Wars 2 armor glow vomit stay in that dying game.

Final eureka looks looks like sharpened anima.
I liked anima final glow cuse it gave the weapon an identity with forms.

They should start implementing the glow the Eureka Hydatos armor had on it. Meaning less showing off, more translucent. I'd prefer a light glow that really shows itself at night than an overbearing one like we get now.
