Although we have more diverse options, an absolute inferior glamor system compared to WoW, hands down. And that is quite, unfortunate. At least glamour in this game is not limited by the game lore like in ESO or GW2.
There are soooo much more diverse glamour options in this game that no other game is even a competition, not even WoW since design there is strict and not too diverse either.
I really like this new pvp armour for tanks, it looks nice on tall elezen, but it looks good only as a set of all pieces together.

To each their own, at least on my miqo'te, it looks streamlined compared to most tank sets and I'm loving it.
This is the only tank set with plate armor that really works well with GNB IMO.

I do wish that us tanks could use the bodysuit version. Heck, I wish glamour restrictions would be removed on everything with the exception of mainhand/offhand items and artifact sets. But I don't think the tank set is 'bad.' It's just not as cool or sexy as the bodysuit.
Just a shame the aiming set shares it. I guess it fets well for MCH but for dancer I'd much prefer the bodysuit.
WoW's system is superior because you can unlock an item appearance and not have to keep it around in your storage or retainers etc to use it again. And considering you can have trouble with inventory space if you actually level all the jobs in FFXIV it would be a godsend here.
But FFXIV has its plusses. We get actual dyable gear instead of a few different hard coded recolors of sets like WoW does. And WoW generally has more restrictions when it comes to stuff like holiday items and the white/gray items in WoW that aren't trasnmogable. I find the role restrictions in FFXIV to be pretty much the same as WoW's cloth/leather/mail/plate breakout so they're about the same on that front except the melee dps are split into three different subsets here giving us seven subsets instead of five, or WoW's four.

I actually really like the tank late allagan set...

I would like to wear the aiming body piece on my tank. Maybe they'll look at "replica" late allagan glamours like they did with the Skyrat sets (ishgard restoration mats).
