Hello there, fellow adventurers.

Allow me to introduce my Linkshell, Counting Sheep.

Who are we?

CS is an active and friendly linkshell based on the Balmung server and we pride ourselves on being an Endgame LS with a difference. What's the difference, I hear you say? Well, I'm glad you asked, allow me to elaborate.

Why are we different?

The difference is that we don't mandate to our members about turning up every other day to events. We don't force you to use our ventrilo server, if you really don't want to. We won't discriminate against you if you don't have the exact jobs or ranks that we need. You could call us a Casual Endgame shell. Casual doesn't mean that we only play 1-2 days a week (in fact most of us play daily - just not 16 hours a day!), but that we also all have lives, jobs, families and other interests outside of FFXIV and understand that you might not be able to attend every scheduled event on the CS calender - and that's OK. Endgame means that, when we are online, we give it our all and do the best we can to achieve all that we can in the time we have available to us. And so far, we've achieved a lot!

Endgame?

Even though we class ourselves as Endgame, we don't have the typical EGLS attitude. We aren't elitist, in fact we actively discourage any kind of elitist attitude. We don't shout "noob" at the first sign of a lack of understanding during an unfamiliar scenario, we don't leave people behind because they don't have top notch equipment and the exact job we need for a scenario. Instead we offer advice and help to all our members, without being judgmental or patronizing. We truly try to take care of our own.

Sounds good, what's the catch?

No catch really, our only hard-line rule is that you only belong to 1 linkshell, Counting Sheep. Now, some people have said that this is elitist in itself, but we beg to differ. Because of the way the LS is run, the sense of camaraderie, the amount of information, materials and support we share amongst our members, we feel that you should only need one shell. And besides...we have found that there is often a conflict of interest when members belong to other linkshells.

• Players with a battle job ranked 25+ but every app will be judged on its own merit.

While we are accepting both NA and EU applications, we are mainly looking for EU players at the moment.

Do you mean no other End Game LSs, or no other LS at all (even pure social/RP/etc LS?).

It means no other Ls's full stop. CS is a very tight knit group who are 100% dedicated to helping each other and we find that the rule is what works best for us. However we do understand that it might not be everyone's cup of tea, so like to make sure that people aware of our rules before they consider joining us.
