Is this soloable?

I've been looking for help on melmond. Without a shell or english speaking people when i'm on makes questing tough to do.
I already died once from the keepers linking with the wolves, so before i head back out there i would like to know if the battle is soloable.

Possibly. I think you have to fight three L45 hippogryphs and then one higher-level one. I did it with three BLMs with no strategy whatsoever and could have easily done it with two. You may need to carefully exploit Convert, Necrogenesis, Sleep, and Sanguine Rite to ensure you have enough HP and MP to take out all of the mobs, as the final hippogryph charges for you as soon as it spawns, i.e. you don't get a break unless you can make one using Sleep.

I did it solo, just burn down the first three, attack the last one till you have about 500 or so MP, Convert, Sanguine Rite, Second Wind, Thunder, Necrogenisis, Thundara. You should have a good amount of HP and MP to survive the rest of the fight with, consider bringing some potions just in case.

Maybe i got it wrong then, but its the quest that rewards sleepga, i thought it was called the voidgate breathes gloomy...
I think you guys are referring to international relations.
The hippo weren't too bad, and much easier when you zerg the 3 and sleep the final for a short rest.
Either way you are coming up to the quest for sleepga. So you may be in my situation soon

Are you asking if the Turning Leaf quest is soloable?
That one is easier than the hippos; walk up to a rock and click.

I thought the sleepga quest was run way the hell toward moogle, click a ??? and be done?

Oh lol, I assumed REDace0 was talking about the right quest, didn't actually look in my log. Yeah, there's no battle, just get past the mobs safely and click the stone.

Sorry about the mix up there. I kinda ran all the BLM quests up through Gearing Up in a frenzy right after the patch came out.

How do you not agro the wolves? I can't just ride through, because the keepers kill me.
Also, I did click the stone (stela) and got some dialog. Is that it?
