    Billed twice for a 30day sub (need advice on the matter)

    Hi,

    Wanting to try patch 5.1, I have resubbed 30days for a $12.99.
    However due to whatever reasons I was billed twice ony m card but only given 30days of gameplay time.
    I have sent a support ticket regarding this and suprise they told me that I will not be getting a refund. This was the email:

    Greetings xxxxx,

    We do apologize for the inconvenience you have been experiencing, however we are unable to refund subscription fees under any circumstances. Once the subscription charge has processed, we are unable to reverse it, as stated in the User Agreement (http://support.na.square-enix.com/rule.php?id=5382&la=1).

    If you do not wish to be billed again in the future, we recommend canceling the subscription ahead of the billing date. To cancel the subscription, log into the Mog Station (sqex.to/Msp) and choose “Your Account”. Once there, scroll to the bottom of the page to find the button to cancel the subscription. Please note that after canceling the subscription, you will still be able to play the remaining game time on the account.

    Has anyone experienced this and not getting any compensation back? Any advice on addressing this matter to their CS team?
    I have replied and asked for extra 30days of gameplay time but if thats not happening, I will be filing a complain as this is a complete ripoff. I feel so lost now and dont know what to do...
    I am also afriaded to continue on subbing as now I know that they can charge me mutiple times on one sub and not having to pay back.

    If you want to keep your account, do not ask your bank for a charge back. SE will permanently ban you.

    The people who do the support tickets are notorious for sending back copy pasta emails that don't address the issue. You need to keep explaining the situation until someone actually takes the time to read it. They think you're asking for a refund and haven't read you got double charged.

    Apparently the online chat is better, or calling them.

    SE support is well known for making you jump through burning hoops and repeating yourself over and over, you just have to keep trying.

    I would wait and see if one falls off. That happens sometimes. Especially if you did it on the weekend or just before.

    Ghost charges happen frequently with things, especially if your payment didnt fully go through the first time.

    Its some weird thing banks do and its not super transparent unless you know how it works.

    I really wish they would change that stuff tho.

    1st step: contact the bank/card provider to ask them if one of the transactions is in holding (basicly, SE havnt actually taken but it still shows on your balance).
    2nd step: if it is in holding, obtain the reference number for the failed/holding transaction and provide this to SE explaining that this was a duplicate and that they need to accept failed transaction for it to go back to your bank. If SE cant do that then it will still automatically re-enter your account 2-7days later. if neither transaction are holding/failed then give SE a piece of your mind and hope you dont get banned? XD
