More content for solo players?

I was all hyped up (and sad) when I heard about Hamlet Defense coming with this patch! But it got delayed u.u

What I would like to know is if they are planning to release more content for solo players.

I got pretty much all classes (but gladiator/paladin) to 50 from a long time ago and I already got all af pieces for all my available jobs (except whm body) and to be honest...besides shouting for parties for the new dungeons...I have NOTHING to do battle wise.

Sure I could go craft to finish leveling my culinarian or gather to finish my FSH...btu I like FIGHTING.

All in all there's no content, right now, (at least IMHO) for max level people and that worries me.

Look at all the final fantasy, how many of them promoted "solo" play. I want FFXIV to be a Final Fantasy. Each Final Fantasy had a "party" system.

Yes you could do it "solo" but it was 100xs harder. So, I want very little solo content. If you want to solo, you will just have to become 10xs better player than what you are ^.^

Yes I do, as I said, how many Final Fantasy had "solo" content? I can't think of any one(besides FFXI). What I mean by solo is one party member, like, only having Cloud in your party. Final Fantasy is ment for comradery.

Also you are playing an mmo, if you don't wanna play with people, go play a single player game.

Holy hell you have an amazing ability of MISSING THE POINT and backing my own at the same time!
FFXI is an mmo just like 14, FF7 is NOT an mmo and even then you could challenge the Colosseum with just cloud..so you keep backing me up lol.
Hell! If I remember correctly you had a better chance of killing Ruby Weapon (was htat the one in teh desert?) if you killed 2 of your party member before starting the fight.

So trying to get back on point and sorry for the multiple posts....

Wouldnt you all like to do something more interesting for solo content?
I LIKED doing company leves but standing in teh same place for 15 minutes protecting a single npc just sint..fun...specially when the reward is barely 130 seals tops...

I really want to do something meaningful and interesting, let me call my companion and help it level up to become more useful..let me defend my city against invasions from monsters.

Im NOT asking for them to make all party content soloable, Im asking for solo content, stuff you could do to have FUN when you log in and you dont feel like finding a party to spend your time.

Soloing was my favorite part of the game. Farming Solo?

I used to have so much fun on BST hunting NM's and doing quests. Etc Etc, Nostalgia etc

You're right, but i'm fairly certain that stuff wasn't in the game the first year, actually I know it wasn't cause it was in JP first year and 2nd year it hit america, that stuff you're mentioning wasn't in the game for 3-4 years. =\ I understand you want more content, but the game is a special circumstance, they're trying to gut it and re-do it in time for the beginning of next year, just try to be patient. =\

Well considering you control all of them/they fight for you and don't have to rely on other players wanting to do something else, all of them sans 11 can be played solo.

Really, what she's asking is if we can get content to do by ourselves on the side. Personally, I think there's plenty of stuff to do by yourself right now.

Because they aren't focused on making solo content right now. They released jobs to encourage party play and released dungeons based on jobs.
