I think better wait until 2.0 for the new players that will come when 2.0 begins

they need instance level caps and drops that scale to your level that way theres no waste, no lv caped players soloing content made for a party, and keeps everything from becoming obsolete once you pass that level. and it keeps content where you still have work for it.

The jobs i played the most where RDM, SMN, NIN and SAM, I enjoy party play, the feeling of having a good party ripping trough enemies by working togheter using *gasp* teamwork is something I enjoy.

Same as I'd rather enjoy instance grinding for exp a'la WoW over any means of exp that both XIV and XI offer.
I play MMORPGs cause I like playing with others as a team.

Well I'll let you off this time because that exactly how I feel.
If I was to say "Madauders job should have been Dark Knight, Warrior is too generic and doesn't fit the team style of play that jobs were supposed to enhance and encourage." would you, or anyone else agree?

Warrior is basicly a hybrid class atm, and the problem with hybrid classes in MMOs is that they are very hard to balance, make it not excel in either of their potential roles and they will not be widely employed, make them too good in each of their roles and people will use them too much.

Warrior atm is a problem due to that it can perfom both of its roles simultaniously, and with great effect at that, a way to fix it would be as some suggested in another thread; to have them take different stances depending on what role they need to fill.
Warrior is somewhat OP atm, but its more complicated then just that... a WAR is good DD while tanking, but as a pure DD they are slightly behind DRG and MNK.
Its good that we have more jobs that can tank (and hopefully more jobs in future who can heal) or there might be many groups waiting for that elusive PLD or WHM to join the last spot for the instance.

As much as I'd like to discuss this, I just realised we're going heavily off topic : ( sorry OP!

Only other thing ever really said about the level cap is that the game was designed around a final cap of 100.
however that was the tanka XIV. No idea if that has changed since yoshi.
