    Hate the Nin changes so much that I switched to Mch but don't like it as much.

    MCH made me realize that my ping is high but I'm adapting to it by entering Overheat mode with few stacks of ricochet and gauss.

    On Nin 5.08 I instinctively slowed down a bit during mudra button presses (after the first button) so I wouldn't get bunny errors. I also pressed the last mudra button again if I didn't hear the cue.

    I'm going to guess people hit those mudra buttons like a madman because they wanted SE not to clip but that resulted in getting lots of bunnies.

    Now the game is forcing everyone to slow down in Nin because they couldn't do it themselves.

    I am aware that resulted in a dps loss but even then, Nin felt a lot more faster than it did now and Gcd Mudras result in a dps loss compensated by harder hitting Ninjutsus.

    For some of us, Nin was about speed, weaving, complexity and not having to wait for the gcd. All of that is gone with 5.1

    Some people have already suggested that the mudra stacks help with ping, it was a matter of putting ninjutsu on GCD instead of mudras.

    ?? I thought I had tried this in 5.0, and found that mudra keys broke combos. Still, I agree that the GCD wait feels bad when it is time to go from a completed combo to the mudras.

    Ninjutsu being on GCD is a real bummer. And that's coming from a ninja who's Raiton would clip between GCDs. Those of you who complain Ninja was unplayable either have some of the worst connections (I played for a long time with 5-7 Mbps down and 0.2-0.5 Up), and/or you never played Ninja on launch. A/The solution was mitigating the damage loss by allowing us Fuma as a viable alternative. W/o Dripping blades Fuma really suffered in 5.0. now with Ninjutsu being on GCD, the only time you'll ever Fuma is when you use Ten Chi Jin. SE couldn't simply Potency boost to make things fair for those of us farther away from the servers, that would just exacerbate the problem making the damage gap larger. So I do understand why they did this. I just don't necessarily agree with them messing with the game feel of Ninja in search of consistency.

    For the most part I like the changes, especially to the Ability Ten Chi Jin. But Ninjutsu being on GCD is kind of a deal breaker for me personally. If you like the changes, more power to you. But I for one dislike them so much I'm probably going to play something else this expansion. For how chaotic Nin was on 5.0 launch, i liked it more than GCD Ninjutsu. It's what made Ninja unique for me. Now Ninjutsu is just a normal combo. It's a slight change, but it really slows everything down more than necessary imo. To Yoshi P. and the rest of the dev team I still love you guys, Just slightly less than a week ago. haha =)

    I miss the the fast paced Ninja it never felt this bad doing mudras...
    First they ruin Astro now my favorite melee Ninja RIP.

    It's interesting, because to me the job now feels like it has a better flow. Every action is now slightly measured instead of cramming as much into as small a space as possible making it feel very disjointed. You can actually think and plan (though this comes from the charges, not the GCD), and it's nice to be able to play a job and know that the deciding factor to how well I perform is my own skill, not latency. I really like the new NIN.

    The charge on mudras instead of kass, and mudra cooldown happening on mudra cast is wonderful. That, tcj fix, and meisui change were absolutely wonderful.

    Meisui not being a trap and the TCJ adjustment really are beautiful. The Kass change to a free extra charge rather than a reset and the second Ninjutsu charge feel almost a little too convenient to me, but I mostly appreciate them, too. On the whole, if we could have just gotten those features and the ping compensation with less slow-down, I'd be loving the heck out of NIN right now.

    to me mudras feel way better seem more inline with combos
    before they felt like they were working against you sometimes

    just smoother and feels just as fast overall

    also much more faithful of a rework than what Ast or Drk got

    At this point I'm hoping Thief/Assassin are in the works for next expansion. There has always been an issue where everything NIN feels forced on the base class Rogue and the 2 have always been in conflict. From the amazing Rogue quests to the downright terrible NIN quests, contrasted with the fast Rogue actions to the sluggish NIN actions.

    I had this random thought as well where we could use a 'Rogue' stance skill; all mudras are disabled for a big boost to all melee skills and a native 10% skill speed boost.
