Main character stuck "Now Loading"

Does this error ever result in the game crashing? Do you receive any kind of error message?

You may want to try a reinstall of the game. When you do, make sure to remove the locally-saved data folder (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Be sure to make a backup of this just in case it doesn't resolve the issue.

I have gotten two errors. The first one happened the first day, last Tuesday. The second error happened the following day. Since then I have gotten no errors. I either have the client crash to desktop after loading into my main for about 10 seconds or just stays stuck on "Now Loading".

As the title states, this only happens with my main character. Alts have no issue loading into the game no matter the server/data center.

I did try a reinstall last Friday. The issue persisted.

I have been told that my character may just be stuck loaded into the game with the server unable to recognize that it is not logged out. Also been told that it is a matter that I may have to just wait till it pops my character out the ETA for this is unknown. It has been almost a week.

Can't a GM just move my character to fix this? In basically every other game I have played where similar issues happen that is one of, if not the first thing they do and has worked every time for me.
