The FFXI style auction house is 110% better than any retainer system they try to implant for many reasons;

- An AH never crashes at all.

- All items are listed & categorized(Which is is not but unable to see the HQ versions UNLIKE FFXI AH)

- The AH was linked to the main citys(Should have been linked to all really but atleast it was linked unlike the MWs) Jeuno<>Whitegate, Bastok, Sandy, Windy and the other remaining 1s did not link to the main AH(Jeuno/WG) but that can/should be implanted.

- Unlike the market wards, you do not need to keep checking that your retainer has crashed and needs to be resummoned.

- Fair enough 7 items was not enough but that can be highered.

- The tax % was always the same on the AH, unlike needing to be in the correct row for items like it is now and getting and extra 3% tax added, for example needing to sell multiple items at the same time(Field/Battle/Reagents) then you could only be in 1 row if u wanted all listed. ALSO not all the rows have space for u to put your retainer since some of them can get full, this causing you to have to summon it somewhere else and have the extra 3% tax.

- AHs have a price history if even if there is currently nothing listed under that item. Market Wards DO NOT and people will ALWAYS put for a stupid price like what happens on my server(Besaid).

- MWs people undercut like hell just because they can see what prices people have put, many times I have crafted items and put onto my retainer for 50k(example) and then checked afew hours/day later and noticed that 6 someone has crafted 6 of this item and undercut it by 20k and then another 3 people have then undercut him also and the price is now only 5k.

For all the people that talk about having to run to your mailbox to pick up your items or having to wait x days for people to bid on it. You are all wrong, FFXI style AH was nothing like this; the items appeared in your inv once purchased and it was only "buyout" if u will rather than bidding.

I for 1 really hope they implant an Auction House due to the many fail reasons of the Market Wards.
