We might be thinking of different sets.... the one I'm referring to was VERY feminine and not at all gothic aristocracyIt does cut in reverse at times. Though heals is more a gothic aristocracy feel which, I think, was what they were aiming for.
IMO for better or worse, FFXIV does a decent job at creating a diverse set of glamours that go both ways. It's not perfect, but I cant fault the devs for trying and improving. Not everything is a winner but thats ok IMO. Win a few, lose a few, do better overtime.
