I'm sure no one is surprised that I'm over the moon about this. I see a lot of pieces that'll fill gaps in my wardrobe without even looking at the bodies (which I'll have to see on my character before I decide if I'll use them).



And those of us who have been asking for these items to be unlocked for years would rather the resources be spent on doing this. We've been asking since 2.2 when we got our very first set of one female-only + one unisex glamour items, as years ago, so it only seems fair that we get our fix first...

But it's easy to only want resources spent on things that effect you directly, at the expense of things that don't!

I think viera actually having helmets fit their head takes precedence over unneeded joke items. Among other things for viera/hrothgar.

Why should that relatively recent request take precedence over the removal of gender-locks on glamour, which has been requested consistently and enthusiastically for five and a half years at this point with little or no progress made (until now)?

Ideally both issues will eventually be completely resolved, but considering Viera/Hrothgar players just got a brand new race to play with and a bunch of headgear at launch despite originally being told they'd have none, I think it's more than fair for other requests to get a bit of focus before revisiting them.

I think Viera being a female only race with its defining characteristics being a large bust and butt in a thong is a joke but they spent a lot of resources on that too.

Remember we could have male viera if it wasn't so time consuming to fit gear to the male bodies that it would slow their patch cycle.

What we needed was them fitting dresses and panties to all the male races instead!

I thought it was because they had already started working on adding Hrothgar and only after the popularity of the Ivalice raid did they decide that Viera would be added and at no time did they state with any certainty that there was a possibility of adding the missing sexes. But the point of the post was actually to say that just because something doesn't cater to you or your idea of what should be in the game doesn't mean it should be excluded or is a waste. This game has a broad player base and what is good for you and yours is not all that matters. Get over yourself and realize you are not the only one this game is designed for.

I don't wear a thong and I have moderate-sized breasts. Way to paint with a broad brush.
