If Medica 2, Diurnal Sect (because let's face it, you rarely get SCH/AST in Savage anyway) and a bunch of other regens could just be taken out of the game in lieu of us having a regen based healer (where you can do things like speed the regens up, explode them for aoe healing, spread them, buff them etc) - I'd be very happy.
If it involves guns so be it.

Yup we keep it simple. Mind is a healer stat and thats that. of course it would be nice to see some themed healer gear but im no fool. I know its a pain to design new things on an triple A mmo with strict rules and money guidelines. When comes to having a modern healer look though we have three sets of gear in the game for that. The filibuster set, the royal volunteer set, and the late allagan set. They all give of that modern combat/healer look quite well.The question you always have to ask with these suggestions is this: Does it still make sense to have Mind as a main stat?
Or: Will it look mismatched/out of place wearing all the same healer gear as the casters.
Because, pretty sure unless/until there's some major changes/overhauls, they will continue holding to keeping all the healers in the same gear.

Honestly I rather hate that the community has decided it's regen vs shield based healers. Because shield based healers have some very potent regens (and in the case of scholar, that includes the strongest regen in the game, and AST's neutral sect boosts potencies as well).
Whatever role the 4th healer will play, I doubt there will be some kind of regen exclusivity to it, or from it.

Remember we are just a bunch of nobodies on the internet brainstorming. We will find out when we get there. Its not like anything we say on these forums will matter. I'm just sitting here begging for a rifle healer. I honestly don't care what kind of healer it is as long as it has a rifle. Again it will most likely never happen. No one will know for sure until we see it in action. You can't make up your mind about these things without seeing it first hand. That being said lets keep this thread on track.
I'm all for a Chemist healer or something of the sort but I personally wouldn't touch it if it had those kinds of weapons. Those look like basic infantry weapons for the grand company recruits. Though I think Geomancer might be a realistic healer in the future "Only" when they sort out all the healer issues/problems/concerns from the healing community
Ever since seeing the sign at the marauder's guild, been wanting a corsair class. I could very well see it as a swashbuckling ship's leech that learned how to heal from afar with custom ammo that heals and hurts, coupled with a medic's bag of syringes, weird fruit and antidotes from exotic shores, and know how to use his bonesaw and riflebutt in close quarters. All dressed in flagrant landsknecth colors since there was no use even for healers hiding from combat when a ship was boarded, so might aswell look good when healing and hurting. Could even sport a parrot that shouted profanities or sang sea shanties for buffs and debuffs. Even just a vanity skill that made it come sit on your shoulder so you can feed it bisuits.
And don't even want to think about that if we get it it'll have a 2.5 second casted Aimed shot, instant hip shot, a shrapel shot for dot, a not-Cure, the parrot is a 2 min CD and all the healing is eight oGCDs on 30-60s cooldown.
