Improper log out due to D/C and the login queue

Actually it does put you in queue now. If you leave the screen up it seems to shove you right back in automatically when your character logs out.

At least that's been my experience since 5.08 I think? Either way it's a nice change.

It's definitely adding you to the queue. I can't remember the exact text but it's something like "logging character out so you can log in; please wait" and the one button on it is 'cancel' rather than OK. It's running a process, not just giving you a notification.

If true, it could stand to be a little clearer, really. It does somewhat read as "cannot log in now, try again later."
