Mogstation payment restrictions for Steam Accounts???? Seriously???

The Credit card/Crysta is not there for me. So unless you need to have 1 crysta for that to show up. (Which seems a little bit strange) then this involves some kind of bug. And if that's the case for mogstation items as well its still forcing steam users to go through the middle man. So it still seems a bit like a pointless restriction.

Did you try to see if the "Add Crysta" option is there under the "Square Enix Account Settings" tab on the homepage of the Mog Station? There is two ways to add Crysta. That being the other one.

Did you check since you bought that crysta if you can use it for sub? And if the other options like card payment are still there? Trying to get to the bottom of whether this is a bug or a genuine change.

Yes, I logged in just fine. I put crysta on my account every month at renewal time. Never had a problem, didn't have a problem this time either. All payment methods were available and nothing out of place.

If some people are getting it but you're not, I think this might be a situation to contact support over. Might be a reason or a problem rather than then secretly changing a payment method without any forewarning of changes. Heck it could even be as simple as a bug. Heck, maybe even try a different browser -just- in case.

Open an incognito window in the browser of your choice and log into mogstation, see if the problem persists. I have had this happen on other games and it seems to work. If this solves it for you, add it to the bookmarks bar of your browser from the incognito tab amd try logging in regularly.

Try clearing your browser cache, saw that as a fix on a reddit thread a month ago or so.

I am a steam user. Literally on a recurring credit card option. Functionally for me there is zero difference between my client and a windows version, payment options included. I can pay through credit/debit or steam. Chrome/Brave.

This is a problem with cookies. If you don't have more options listed, use a private tag or clear cookies and cache in your browser. You should be able to use any other payment like everyone else.

I have Steam version and I can use all the payments method available.

For me if I click the renew at the bottom I only get steam options, if I hit account options at the top it lets me use crysta/credit card. Idk why tho

Yeah it's a cookies thing with steam, depending on your browser just set it to not keep steam cookies at all and the options to pay with Crysta should always pop up. The same happened to me recently

my original registration was through a 1.0 PC CE, and now i can only pay through steam, even though ive always bought physical copies for PC, i just also bought the steam version, seems like they enjoy subverting their customers to the point they no longer want to play.
