Mogstation payment restrictions for Steam Accounts???? Seriously???

If some people are getting it but you're not, I think this might be a situation to contact support over. Might be a reason or a problem rather than then secretly changing a payment method without any forewarning of changes. Heck it could even be as simple as a bug. Heck, maybe even try a different browser -just- in case.

I decided to use another PC to check mogstation this time. Same browser and such, and this time all the payment methods showed up.

Then I looked back on my PC and its still missing.

So this is a bug. I'm going to move it to the bug forums. Change the title etc etc. I'm going to keep investigating on my end. If anyone experiences anything similar. Please share your browser platform here.

For me this is happening on Chrome.

Open an incognito window in the browser of your choice and log into mogstation, see if the problem persists. I have had this happen on other games and it seems to work. If this solves it for you, add it to the bookmarks bar of your browser from the incognito tab amd try logging in regularly.

Try clearing your browser cache, saw that as a fix on a reddit thread a month ago or so.

I am a steam user. Literally on a recurring credit card option. Functionally for me there is zero difference between my client and a windows version, payment options included. I can pay through credit/debit or steam. Chrome/Brave.

Oh another thought. Have you tried first registering a debit/credit card with Mog Station? Then maybe the option of using it as method of payment will be there.

This is a problem with cookies. If you don't have more options listed, use a private tag or clear cookies and cache in your browser. You should be able to use any other payment like everyone else.

I have Steam version and I can use all the payments method available.

For me if I click the renew at the bottom I only get steam options, if I hit account options at the top it lets me use crysta/credit card. Idk why tho

I never understood why people used crysta to begin with. why do a transaction just to do a transaction? Just pay the recurring? maybe I missed something in regards to crysta

With Crysta, I have FULL control with what AND when SE can charge me for something. If I want the subscription to continue, I will add crysta to the account. If I don't want it for the month, i will leave it empty and I don't have to worry about any money being deducted. Plus using Crysta, I have FULL control WHERE the money comes from to buy it, whether from paypal or one of my credit cards.

Yeah it's a cookies thing with steam, depending on your browser just set it to not keep steam cookies at all and the options to pay with Crysta should always pop up. The same happened to me recently
