Why do "You" want an auto-attack?
Why would it help you?
What would it make easier?

This topic already has a few posts and most of them have hundreds of comments. I'm pretty sure most will not want to re discuss...
melee players are too lazy to press 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1
and I'll lazy too if I play melee
The option to toggle it on and off. my play style varies greatly depending what I'm doing, Soloing Auto-attack off allowing me more freedom as well the feeling of being part of the fight. Group play Auto-attack on to allow freedom to chat with the group as well focus on increasing my DPS with BR, abilities not related to standard attacks.
Or they could just extend the battle queue and give us auto attack when we don't press a button. That would be the best way to approach it.
It's largely dependant what class I am playing as to if I want it or not and also just for the social aspect so i can type out a message and not have to worry about standing there doing nothing while I do.
How would I implement it? Well make it toggle on/off for basic attack by holding down 1 for a few seconds to toggle on/off. When on it would only use the basic attack once your stamina bar is completely full then wait for it to fill again then launch basic attack again and so on, easy.
Same reason I said in the other 15 threads.
Who cares anymore? Matsui has already stated that auto-attack is happening.
Now we just need more information on how everything will work out.
Because.
Just because.
i think ppl just wanna be lazy >.> soory I hate auto attack..... but ya the manual arrack in ffxiv coulda been more fliud. Like making an attack button not an action bar number. Look up DCUO combat. Or elder scrolls I would like that type of attack system. It keeos me entertained and its preatty easy to do abilities.![]()
