My friends who have it all pass. Sorry this happened to you.
Yikes. I guess that since it's a coffer, the game wouldn't have as easy a way of verifying whether the players already own the contents. That does sound like a pretty crummy oversight.
You're kidding, is the Nier outfit not tagged as unique?
apparently if you delete the coffer, it counts as you not having one. even thought youve redeemed one previously. also you can convert it into glamour dresser and it counts as you not having one.
so dumb
Yeah should be treated as a mount drop.
A little off topic: are they possibly going to have a male themed glamour next raid?
It is, but once you stick it in your glamour dresser it is not registered as you having it. So you can have more than one unique item. I have multiple sets of some gear. One for glamour for my higher level jobs and one to wear for lower level. They are all unique.
Not only that, Orchestra and Cards shouldn't be allowed to roll it too if you already got one.
Maybe they could introduce an achievement in the style of "Talk to Jonathan wearing the full 2B set" which will unlock the set from the Calamtiy Salvager but will prevent you from rolling on the coffer again?
Its not perfect, since it wont protect against trolls who could simply not bother to get the achievment and keep happly rolling, but since the game seems to have no real way to check wether or not you own a certain piece of gear somewhere its the best I could think of... would also be a nice addition so people could safely discard the set and still have an easy way of getting it back.
So it's as I feared. What a pain...
I'm sorry this happened to you (I'm sure it'll happen to me as well when I try to actively farm for it...)
