Think of the last player you remember commin; why did you comm them over the others?

I commended a tank who consistently waited for me to apply excog and adlo before he rushed off to do a wall-to-wall. It was nice to get that consideration. They also seemed to manage their mitigation really well.

The DPS who begged for a comm after pulling a few times for the tank did not get one.

Basic Training: Enemy Parties as a Mentor Roulette. Since it was a very quick and easy affair I just gave the commendation to a fellow Midlander guy who I felt was well designed.

during ex roulette i gave my commendation to the other dps because the healer and i were pre-made and the tank didnt even once use sprint.

I gave my last commendation to a White Mage Lalafell in Twinning in several pieces of eden savage gear. They were skillful enough to die 6 seconds into the first boss fight. No one but them knew what happened and how they lost all their HP so quickly and they wouldn't share their secret with us.

When I see new players in a duty (judging from watching the CSs, having lolvl gear, class-icon and stuff) I tend to comm them over the others as long as they perform decent or are willing to take advice. Generally as long as people act friendly or at least don't bitch around and do their job well they're comm-candidate.

You click the touchpad twice to highlight the comm box, X to open it, and then scroll through the list. I know some things are a pain in the ass with a controller, but this isn’t one of them.

I comm'd a drg for being committed while using the lb to finish off the boss at the end of amarout. He faithfully stood and used that lb right as the boss was using the huge line aoe that you have to get on the side platforms for.
