It is very rare that I encounter a player deserving of special recognition. Most Commendations are given so my leveling class gets the xp.

Randomly used bolide? You mean like...In a group of three mobs or something while taking almost no damage? That kind of random? Just curious.

As usual, if I'm on DPS myself I generally commend my fellow dps if they are doing good dps and don't do something silly like ignore mechs or otherwise behave like a jerk. If they don't get it then it goes to either the tank or healer, same criteria. If I'm healer then I'll commend the tank first with the same criteria, followed by a DPS if the tank isn't up to standard. The most recent commend was while I was on dragoon and it went to the dancer in my Stone Vigil levelling roulette.

My last comm went to the sprout tank in Stone Vigil. He does single pulls at first. Then after gaining more confidence he started pulling more.

Last one was given to the healer who patiently took care of my failing ass during that run in The Burn. I died a few times so I appreciate the patience. I also wanted to comm the dragoon, who for a dragoon stayed exceptionally alive (but then I just returned to the game, maybe now dragoons don't die as often?) and called off the tank on something. But sadly we can only give one, sometimes it's hard to choose.
In general I comm people who at least say hi at the start (if you're not even friendly enough to spend a split second to greet, you don't deserve it) and then who are nice. Playing the job well comes after.

I wanted to commend everyone but we cannot do that so the luck of the draw was the healer.
