Sound output is too low after 5.1

Why did they lower the sound output so much in patch 5.1?

Before the patch I had my Master Volume set between 10 - 25% to have a perfect balance with everything else on my computer. Now I have it set on 100% and it's still too low.

This means I have to upper the volume on my computer with 40% to get the volume I want in-game. But that means everything else is super loud. And thaaat means I have to lower the volume on every single app/program on my computer... (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Please make the sound output a bit louder again, since you can always lower the Master Volume in-game if you feel like it's a bit too loud as standard.

Uuh ... something must be bugged then. I didn't notice much of a change at all and have similar volume levels to yours (25% when doing MSQ, 5%-10% when raiding).

Yes they have but most certainly not to a degree of 75% output volume.

Honestly they would have too I play on a ps4 and have the settings vary and my tv is set to volume 8 out of 100 and it's still really loud. When I'm on my days off I'm afraid I'll wake my dad (he works days I work overnight) up due to how loud it gets even with my tv set to that low of a volume and trust me I dont want to wake him up at all he pays the rent while I pay the rest of the bills and he makes more money than I do lol.

I noticed it myself and thought my ears might have been clogged. Lol they make so many odd changes for seemingly no reason, I guess they got some JP complaints.

There is a clever invention that prevents waking other people and enables you to enjoy sound at the same time.

Interesting. I have noticed that too. I play on PS4 and I have it going through my Audio receiver. I usually have to keep it low, around 10-12 on the volume scale. Lately I have to turn it to 15-17....
But on another note the synchronized the Audio to the Video of the Shadowbringers trailer that plays when you are idle on the main menu so that's a nice trade off!

Oh thank god it's the game and not myself, I thought I was losing my hearing lol

And for my opinion, this isn't a big issue to me, it can be fixed by increasing the volume on your TV or computer

Sound output right now is very well balanced

I always play with high volume on my BOSE qc 35 , and hell before the extreme fights and some other noises made my ears cry

I never made any complaint on Forum, because I thought that SE will never change that , because it was like that for years
